1. Requirements Analysis

2. Proof of Concept

Once we understand your needs, we’ll build your custom Proof of Concept (PoC) application. This typically takes under two weeks (often much less). We will then set up a demonstration of your PoC. This is the exciting part as you get to see your solution come to life!

3. Feedback and refine

It’s time to refine your PoC, working closely with you to accurately gather feedback, implement changes and iterate fast until your solution is ready to go. Remember: LEAP is fully customisable, which means that you can make updates and changes at any time – you are never restricted by the software.

4. Testing phase

Your solution now enters its testing phase. Flovate has a dedicated and highly experienced QA team whose job it is to find bugs and fix them before your solution is rolled out.

We operate a simple and transparent licence-based pricing structure. Pricing is competitively scaled to the size of your organisation and based on the user activity rather than just the number of users – which means you only pay for what you use. 8. Hosting LEAP in the cloud

Cloud DeploymentServer Deployment

LEAP can be easily deployed on The Cloud to save investment on costly servers.

We can arrange a Cloud deployment for you, using the Microsoft Azure network or alternatively we can work with you to ensure your Cloud deployment goes smoothly.

Server Software Requirements

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 / 2014 R2
  • Microsoft .Net 4.5
  • Windows Identity Framework
  • IIS7 or higher with Windows Communication Foundation Activations turned on
  • SQL Server 2008 (SP2) / 2012 (SP3) / 2014 (SP2) Standard Edition (ensure SQL Server instance is allocated minimum of 7GB RAM)

 

Hardware Requirements

As a minimum the following is required;

  • 4 core (2.4 GHz Intel Xeon® E5-2673 v3 processor)
  • 14 gigabytes (GB) of RAM minimum
  • 10 GB or more of available space (this depends on client usage and predicted throughput)

 

Recommendations

For SQL Server configuration we recommend that all database files are stored on non OS disks. LEAP uses tempdb frequently so there are performance benefits moving these to different disks than the user databases.

 

LEAP Installation/Configuration

The LEAP installation requires both web services and windows services to be hosted on the server.

LEAP Web Services

There are number of web services that will need to be hosted within IIS with a http and https binding. The LEAP windows service, client WPF application (local workstation) and website (server hosted) will need to be able to connect to these endpoints.

LEAP Windows Service

This will need to be installed as a standard windows service and it will host a number of svc endpoints on a configured port. The client WPF application (local workstation) and website (server hosted) will need to be able to connect to these svc endpoints.

LEAP Workflow Server Service

This will need to be installed as a standard windows service and communicate to the LEAP SQL database and LEAP web services.

 

Database and Documents

There are 3 SQL Server databases required for LEAP’s data storage and a local document store for the document storage.  The disk space capacity for these will be depend on analysis of the client throughput.
