Keep track of financial information from within LEAP. The transactional based accounting module can create sales, purchase and nominal ledgers with a hierarchical model of ledger account codes. Use in conjunction with the documentation and communication modules to send estimates and invoices.


Messaging Server (Integrations)

Integrate existing applications

Through use of a messaging server and APIs, LEAP can integrate with your other systems and applications. The messaging server acts as a distribution centre, receiving data and information from one system and sending it to the other. This happens automatically in the background, without any need for user input.

Cloud & On-site Hosting

You can host LEAP securely in the Cloud or on your own local server

When deploying your LEAP application, FLOvate recommend utilising the efficient and agile workings of cloud technology. The suggested platform is Microsoft Azure, the current market-leading cloud computing service.

LEAP can easily be deployed on the Cloud to save your company from investing in costly servers. The FLOvate team are ready to complete this deployment process for you, utilising Microsoft Azure. The team can also work alongside your team to ensure a hassle-free, smooth deployment process.

Alternatively, for enterprise level projects, LEAP can be deployed to your own local server.

System requirements are detailed below.

Server Software Requirements

  • Windows Server 2012 R2 / 2016
  • Microsoft .Net 4.6
  • Windows Identity Framework
  • IIS7 or higher with Windows Communication Foundation Activations turned on
  • SQL Server 2012 (SP3) / 2014 (SP2) / 2016 (SP1) Web/Standard Edition* (ensure SQL Server instance is allocated minimum of 7GB RAM)
  • The required SQL Server Edition will be dependent on your system requirements and usage (please visit Microsoft Docs for further information)


Hardware Requirements

As a minimum the following is required;

  • Four core (2.4 GHz Intel Xeon® E5-2673 v3 processor)
  • 14GB of RAM or higher
  • 10GB or more of available space (depending on client usage and predicted throughput)

For SQL server configuration we recommend that all database files are stored on non OS disks. LEAP uses tempdb frequently so there are performance benefits moving these to different disks than the user databases.

This specification will support approximately 100 concurrent users for configurations of moderate complexity. For installations of over 100 users, please contact us to discuss enterprise configuration requirements.


LEAP Installation/Configuration

The LEAP installation requires both Web Services and Windows Services to be hosted on the server.


LEAP Web Services

There are number of web services that will need to be hosted within IIS with a http and https binding. The LEAP Windows Service, client WPF application (local workstation) and website (server hosted) will need to be able to connect to these endpoints.


LEAP Windows Service

This will need to be installed as a standard Windows Service and it will host a number of svc endpoints on a configured port. The client WPF application (local workstation) and website (server hosted) will need to be able to connect to these svc endpoints.


LEAP Workflow Server Service

This will need to be installed as a standard Windows Service and communicate to the LEAP SQL database and LEAP Web Services.


Certificate and Email Domain

A Certificate will be required to secure the https connection. If LEAP needs to be publicly available than the certificate will need to be provided from a public CA.

An Email Domain will be required if the LEAP inbound email functionality is to be used. This can be using a subdomain of your existing Domain or a new Domain. To allow for routing emails appropriately in LEAP, an MX record will need to be configured for the Domain or Subdomain to direct traffic to the server that will be hosting our Email Server service included in the LEAP installation. Please note, we can not use an existing domain that is already configured with a MX record and being used by existing email providers.



A Clickatell account ( clickatell.com ) with a SOAP API will be required if the LEAP SMS functionality is to be used.


Database and Documents

There are four SQL server databases required for LEAP’s data storage and a local document store for the document storage.  The disk space capacity for these will depend on analysis of the client.
