Data Definition

Our Analyst enabled screens make Data, Objects and the Fields they contain easy to model. Therefore, processes are easy to visualise and quick to build, even for non-IT staff. In addition, Fields are fast to create via LEAP’s advanced management definition tools. Moreover, you can integrate validation fields, plus add-ons such as spell checkers and the phonetic alphabet. Do all this straight out of the box without code.

How do you collect your data? Telephone calls? ‘Wizards’ are easy to configure in LEAP. Therefore, this simplifies the while process of capturing the right information. You can also integrate conditional Wizards. These ensure that dependent information is collected before the process moves on. As a result, you can be confident in the quality of the information that you capture.

Do you need to collect data via a website? No problem. LEAP connects to your websites via an easy to configure API. As a result, data from your process can flow into the system without re-keying. In addition, LEAP DCV technology can request data from people involved in the process. This can be done via email or SMS. Therefore, the resulting data form is responsive to the device used: whether that’s mobile, tablet or desktop.

Internal people

What roles are involved in your process? We can define any number of workflow roles within practical limits. Roles are easy to create and apply to individuals or groups. Of course, LEAP supports your preferred method. For example, at random, round-robin, least active, most active, logged on, etc.


External people

Assign a role to anyone in your process. Whether it’s the Complainant in a complaints process or Claimant in a claims process: LEAP makes it easy. This includes Suppliers, service providers and external experts. Assign roles to all, using your preferred terminology. With the portal, external agents can simply log on and see just what they need. Therefore, they spend less time on long email trails and phone calls.

As a result, everyone in the process has a clear role. This enables quick and effective communication and of course, better service.

Process decisions

Who is making each decision? We have a simple method for defining tasks that need to be made by (legacy) humans.

Within this, we define the task, its possible outcomes, and the role of the decision maker. In addition, our advanced rules engine means that we can automate decisions with explicit logic via the UI. In many cases, this doesn’t require code. However, you can insert code here if needed.

Finally, Microsoft Azure AI + LEAP integration enables machine learning to take place.

So how does this work? During a human decision, the system takes a snapshot of the data. This is stored for continual analysis. Once the AI has successfully determined a solution, the Rules Engine seamlessly updates the system.


Process outcomes

To enable analysis, you can define process outcomes as the destination of your process.

Time: do you have milestones or time limits?

Now we turn to the issue of time management in your processes. Do you have timescales that need to be adhered to? What do you have to do if these timescales are not met? Escalate?

Do you have milestones that you want to define and record once they are achieved?

LEAP lets you define multiple milestones and record dates when they are achieved. We can also add advanced logic to define expected timescales. Automatic escalation ensure nothing slips through the net. Naturally, this all takes place in the UI, without code.

Documents: what documents are consumed/generated by your process?

LEAP includes full electronic document management.


Incoming documents

Consume documents in flexible ways, including legacy scanning and indexing. We define a document catalogue, with workflows assigned to each document type. What’s more, LEAP can store any file type. It supports internal viewers for most standard file types, and external programs for proprietary file types.


Outgoing documents

Merge system data into templates via LEAP’s fully featured document production sub system. Then, incorporate logic to vary the content and presentation.

Workflow: Advanced Task Management

Workflow is easy to define using the UI. Once deployed, the question is: how do you manage potentially thousands of tasks?

Enter LEAP Integrated Robotic Process Automation. This ensures that automated tasks flagged for immediate execution are performed without human input.

In addition, User tasks are sent to a queue for each user to work through. These have multiple fields to make dates and priorities easy to manage. Supervisors have full visibility of task queues for their team. Work is easy to reallocate using familiar drag and drop functionality.

LEAP allows you to assign ‘expectancies’ to task templates. As a result, you can see instantly how much work each queue contains and how long it is likely to take.

Each user within the system can see their outstanding tasks. Simply select an allocated task to be taken to the related process.

Moreover, the simple UI makes specialist task lists easy to create, even when shared by multiple users. Finally, Reports and dashboards are supplied as standard. These show clearly tasks outstanding by date and user.

Activity Log: your accountability audit trail

The System Activity Log tracks every interaction.

In addition, you can define which activities are recorded in the separate User Activity Log. View these logs for individual processes, or analyse them system-wide.

Supplier Management: bring your supply chain into the workflow!

A complete process is made up of many parties. For example,  team members, customers and external providers. External providers can perform a number of functions. For example,  providing expert opinions to fulfilling customer orders or services on your behalf.

Instructing suppliers electronically as part of the process is essential. What’s more, they should be able to notify you once they have worked on a task.

Manage your communications in one place with LEAP’s digital supplier portal. You can also forward these digital updates to your customers to improve service levels.

Quality and compliance management: Inline and real time

Organisations often use spreadsheets to manage external quality management or compliance monitoring systems.

Bring this data into the scope as part of the process with LEAP. Then, implement scoring to bring live audit scores to your fingertips.

Create Compliance tasks at random (as a percentage) or based on other criteria. Define these within the workflow for immediate execution as soon as process or stage is complete.

Reporting and Dashboards: digital reporting and live analytics

Finally, we come to reporting. With LEAP, it’s easy to measure data and gain insights in real time. Thanks to flexible reports and dashboards, you can create reports based on any system data using the intuitive drag and drop function. Then, simply export them in Excel or Word or as PDFs. Finally, you can also schedule reports and distribute them to designated users or email addresses.
