Forrester Research defines low-code as “Application development platforms that enable rapid application delivery with minimal hand coding and quick setup and deployment.”

Typically low-code software such as LEAP is employed so that processes can be better managed and offer greater transparency. This speeds up their efficiency and responsiveness reducing their cost to the business.

Rather than the traditional approach of developers hard coding to create a fixed solution, low-code platforms such as LEAP are pre-configured highly sophisticated and adaptable modular toolkits, in which all the elements you could need are pre-made and ready to build.

Low-code has traditionally been referred to as RAD (rapid application development) and 4GL (fourth-generation language), but as Low-code becomes more widely recognised our terminology is changing.

Other terms used to describe low-code are; no code, zero code, and full configuration.

So what can teams tasked with improving their processes achieved with low-code?

  • The potential to automate more of their processes or more elements of their processes.
  • Bring more processes together and integrate legacy systems so they are more productive.
  • Digitise elements of their processes and procedures.
  • Reduce the pressure on developers to deliver the BAU projects.
  • Improve transparency and accountability of internal systems.
  • Free up manpower to concentrate on other areas in the business.
  • Reduce costs associated with processes development and legacy systems.
  • And optimise agile thinking and speed up initiative delivery.

LEAP low-code software can transform your processes and deliver solutions up to 10 times faster than traditional development.
